What does the free self-hosted tier include? +
All modules distributed under BSL 1.1 or Apache 2.0: Industream core, FlowMaker, UI Fusion, DataBridge with open connectors (MQTT, Modbus, REST, WebSocket, GPIO), AssetCatalog, dashboards, Python/TypeScript/.NET SDKs, and the Grafana plugin. Free for non-commercial use on your own hardware.
What's the difference between OPEX and CAPEX pricing? +
OPEX = pay monthly (or annually) as a subscription — everything included, upgrades automatic. CAPEX = one-time purchase + 15% yearly maintenance — you own the license. Same features either way.
How are tag / model / user tiers counted? +
Tags = live, historical or calculated data points in Data & Asset Catalog. Models = trained AI models in AI Studio. Users = named MCP Agentic access seats. Tiers: 100 / 500 / 1,000 / 5,000 (or 1 / 5 / 10 / 50 models, 1 / 5 / 10 / 25 users).
Is there a trial? +
Yes — 90-day free trial on every module (Data & Asset Catalog, AI Studio, MCP Agentic). No credit card required.
What about high availability? +
Add a redundant server as active-passive HA — priced at 1.5× the first server cost per subscription line. Contact us for deployments that need multi-site replication.
Are Process Packages (IronStream, ArcStream) included? +
No — IronStream (blast furnace L2) and ArcStream (EAF L2) are proprietary domain packages quoted separately based on the subset of models you need. Same for Digital Twin, monitoring modules, and EU ETS CO2 accounting.
Can you build custom connectors or models? +
Yes — any specific connector or model development is quoted separately. Customer IP by default. Professional services and implementation are billed at hourly rates.
